案例概要
美国化工材料制造行业的goodrich公司和欧 洲一家传统银行rabobank由于各自的融资 成本优势与各自的融资需求不相匹配，希望 进行利率互换，以获得低成本的固定利率和 浮动利率资金。morgan bank作为中介银行， 将与双方分别签订独立的互换合约。 1983年3月7日，星期一，合约正式达成。业 界为goodrich获得的低融资成本发出惊叹！

1、作为一种金融工具，互换产生的背景和动力是什么？ 2、考虑互换交易中的三方：
(1) 对于rabobank银行来说，有利可图的x底限是多少？ (2) 对于中介morgan bank来说，有盈利吸引力的年费f是多少？ (3) 对于goodrich公司来说，f与x的组合为多少时才能享受到互 换的好处？
