上世纪80年代,随着微型光谱仪、微处理器和现代计算技术的出现,紫外-可见光谱仪器以其简洁、相对低成本得以迅速发展,实验室紫外-可见光谱仪器功能愈发强大。90年代开始,该技术从实验室向户外发展,但主要是外形庞大、结构复杂、成本较高的离线(off-line)分析方式。但目前,原位光学检测技术的市场均为相对简单的光度分析,一次只能测定一两个波长数据。这些仪器只能测定一个指标,通常都采用比较简单的运算方法无法抵抗各种干扰。在水质监测领域广泛采用的就是氮含量、浊度和有机物[254nm处的光谱吸光系数(SAC254)]。但是,采用全谱来代替单波长光谱能够获得更丰富的信息,减少各种干扰。近年来电子技术和光学技术的发展已经能够在小尺寸的仪器上实现紫外可见光谱的全谱采集。此外,还可以设计出适合下水道或工业处理装置等恶劣环境的结实耐用、无需维护(不消耗化学试剂,也无移动部件)的小型光谱分析仪器。从第一台在线分析仪器投入户外使用开始,本文简要介绍了它的性能和应用。
